I'm from Michigan, a bit west of Saginaw. I am a long time clusterhead, too.

Hey MorePower,
I am about two hours from both Detroit and Port Huron. Should be able to work something out. Are you in cycle these days or PF?

I am Chronic

I have always been episodic but guess I have turned chronic, as well, since this current cycle has been going on since last October. The only med I take is verapamil. I haven't needed triptans since I got a clustermasx in December.

I am on vacation until about the end of August. I will be back in Michigan in about a week. Do you really have to take time off of work? I can meet most any time.

Hey sorry everyone who responded to my question, and months later I have finally replied. I have been very busy with family matters and just couldn't find time to get online to keep in touch. Parents seem to be doing much better. Mother had a heart attack, then three months later, father had a stroke. My mom having the heart attack was much easier to deal with, it was a mild one and the bypass surgery was a success. The stroke however was much more painful to watch. My father was completely lost when he would try to do things we use to and could no longer do. Therapy has been wonderful for him. But I am back now and ready to meet people who suffer from CH. I have been suffering for approx. 15 years. I was diagnosed just 4 years ago. It is nice to have someone to talk to who knows what we are going through. I am near Flint, Michigan. The city with no jobs and low moral.
Let me know if anyone is near here.
Thanks!
Anita

I'm sorry you've had such a rough time of it lately, Anita.

I'm in Ypsilanti.  I'd love to meet up some time.

Hey sorry once again for missing the post. When I am not having an attack I forget about this place. Guess I should make it my home page!

M.R. LOL about Flint, wish I didn't live so close to the city but I do, what can I say.

I am actually in a small town just north west Flint, called Genesee. Great small town, very friendly and quite.

If anyone is still interested I am good for a Saturday or Sunday drive with  in reason. Don't worry you don't have to come to Flint, I try to avoid it myself whenever possible, which is a lot. Although my husband can't he is employed by the city.

Anita    :)

I am still here, too, west of Saginaw. A meet with others would be great. Weekends are best. I haven't been on the board for awhile but will be around again for awhile - especially since I seem to have turned chronic.

All right, does anyone want to do this? Someone pick a spot and lets do it. I would maybe say Lansing area as that is about in the middle. If everyone is good with that, I will set it up, considering I may have to move out of the state to find a real job soon.

You can count me in! I am willing to travel and to help organize, if needed. I have a story to share , too, of meeting a fellow clusterhead, by accident, and it has been a significant event for him, I think.

Anywhere decided to meet is great with me!

Hey there my fellow clusterheads in Michigan!   I dont know why I didnt even think to come check out the threads here b4 but better late than never right?...I am in Temperance Mi which I know is close to Monroe and not too far from Ypsilanti.  I notice that MikkaB mentioned they were from Ypsi...depending on when you all decide on the meet and greet I would be willing to tavel within reason to meet you all.  I am not sure where Flint and Lansing is or how far it is from me considering I have only lived in the state for 2 and a half yrs and never up in those areas.

But please get into contact with me either thru here pm me or you can e mail me at tesslovescoffee@yahoo.com or if you have yahoo messenger pm me there...my id is tesslovescoffee...I am a newbie still on this site going on one month and I am here everyday...in chat as well.  I have had ch's since spring of 2001...started off episodic and am now chronic and have been for about 2 to 2 and a half yrs.  I am also a single mom of 2 young children trying to attend college...so you can imagine how challenging that is.

Well I will be patiently awaiting your responses!  Many blessings and wishes for PFDAN to you all!!
