I live in Milwaukee and am planning on taking Thursday and Friday off so as to help provide transport to and from the airport. But if you're coming in on the 11th, you might want to contact the hotel and ask them to pick you up with their shuttle.

I'll be handling the coordination of airport pickups.

It would be helpful to have all of your flight numbers/airline names so we can check to see if your flight is on time or late (or even, possibly, early).

You can IM them to me, or email them, or post them here. I'll keep track and make sure everyone has a ride from the airport to the hotel.

   O.K. Liz,

United Airlines,   flight 6775    Arrives at 5:25

Give me a half hour from that time, because I don't expect you to come into the terminal.   I'll be outside having my 1st cigarette after 9 or 10 hours and you can just slow the car down to 15 or 20 mph....and I'll jump in.    ;)

Linda - You should probably state which day you're arriving. Otherwise, have a couple extra packs of smokes in your purse in case you have to wait an extra 24 hours.  ;;D

Looks like I passed the test. ;)

I have volunteered my driving prowess and have taken off work Thursday and Friday to help get folks to the hotel. Although I may have to take out a home equity loan to buy a couple of tanks of gas by that time. Good God!

alienspacebabe is coordinating all the rides, so I will go where and when she tells me to.

Arriving Thursday the 13th on American Eagle flight 3973 9:43 am.  We are renting a car.

Jonny- if you want to hang out and wait for about an hour we will take you with us to the hotel.  I will be driving so my suggestion to you would be to practice your grip so you can hold on tightly to the oh-shit bar when I take corners!  :)  Chris has gotten really good at it!   ;;D

I volunteer for pick ups if an extra vehicle is needed.  Don't see the point of making anyone pay for a cab.

I would offer to pick Jonny up at the airport this year....but last year didn't go so well...

Poor Jonny was left standing in the terminal while Patty and I waited on her luggage...so Bill picked up Jonny and after they finally found Patty's luggage she and I retrieved Nani...

No worries :)  everyone got picked up!

Jonny, you gonna cash in your raincheck on that ride ??

It's either a Liquer Store, or depending on the City or County Ordinances,  you can buy it right in the local Supermarket, and pick up a cart full of munchies all at the same time.

As long as you are going...I'll take some peppered Beef Jerky, a  fresh package of  cheese curds, and some fresh deli brats.

Okay, so it's not a midwest, regional thing. Thought I was losing my freakin' mind for a second.

I hope alienspacebabe assigns me to pick you up, Jonny. This may be a once in a lifetime deal. But being that she is the queen of all that is transportation, I yield to her supreme authority and accept my future fate.

If the curds have been refrigerated, they ain't fresh. Once they've hit the fridge, they don't make your teeth squeak anymore.

Nothin' like squeaky curds.

Great Helen, neat site!

Look what I can bring:

Quote:
Up to 5 liters of alcohol with alcoholic content between 24% and 70% are allowed per person as carry-on or checked luggage if packaged in a sealable bottle or flask. (I'll leave the 99.5% ones at home) :P

All food must go through the X-ray machine. Do NOT bring food to the security checkpoint unless it is wrapped or in a container. Unpeeled natural foods like fruit are okay, but half-eaten fruits must be wrapped.  (I'll have the Biltong vacuum sealed) ;)

Yip, it seems any weapons are out of the question, I'll just have to spank Svenn with my bare hands. [smiley=laugh.gif]

alienspacebabe,

If you need help getting people to the hotel from the airport I am willing to help.

I just need a couple weeks notice to get off of work, so lemme know!

Jonny - no need for that phone book - many years of being an "enthusist" have got me friends at certain places, and I've been to them all so I can save you the time of going to the ugly ones.
