tried to add a pic with a URL

I have tried to add a pic to my profile with a URL and it doesnt show up on my messages. What am I doing wrong???
Please help and advise

I can add a pic when I change the picture icon, but I want to add one of my own which is a jpg and is on an MSN community.
Can this be done?

Yes Janet, but you will need the web address to the picture. It has to be accessable somewhere on the web. Just past the URL of the picture in the block labeled "I have my own pic".
If you'll send me the URL for the picture, I can put it in your profile for you.
Let me know...

Thanks for the advice, I tried to update my profile again, so when I post this I will know if it works  but on looking at the page it didnt grrrrrrrr
Here is the URL of the pic I want on .............dont laugh at me for it ............yeah I know Im sad.......haha..........but we can all dream.
