Personal Pic in Profile - having trouble

I can't seem to figure out what i'm doing wrong. I can post this pic into a message - but when i paste the URL into the box for it in the profile editor - i get nothing.

And yes - i checked the little box that says "I have my own pic" Cool - and i made sure the http:// wasn't doubled at the beginning

The only thing i can think of is that it'a animated. Is that why it doesn't take?

Sylvan,

I'm not really sure about the animated thing with your picture.

For my profile, I just put a regular jpg file in.

A reference for you though... Here's what I use for my profile picture.... http://www.lakeco.lib.in.us/images/meandmykramer.jpg

I just clicked the 'I have my own pic' box and pasted this URL in. In this case, you don't use the [img ][ /img] tags.

Just poke out my eye and get it over with!!!

Thanks for the reply - that's what i am doing - but it never shows up and it's never still in the box when i go back into my profile.

I have seen other animated .gif 's used in profiles and the file size is minimal (maybe too small?)
