Can you Catch a Shadow?

Hello everyone,

Was hoping maybe someone could describe what they mean when they refer to a shadow.  I may be experiencing them and am worried I might become a CH down the line due to alot of head trauma as a child and neurological problems.

If you type 'shadow' into the search button, you'll find lots written on the subject.  A shadow is the threat of a cluster attack about to hit.  It just kind of sits there, though, not fully blossomed yet.

A sure fire way to tell if you're having cluster headaches is to take the Cluster Quiz in the buttons to the left.

And, thank the good Lord, no, you cannot 'catch' cluster headaches.  They're not contagious.

Apparently my title was misunderstood, it was kind of a joke... similar to "can you hold a wave on the sand?"  Nevermind, the moment was lost.  Undecided

Regardless, it seems I'm going to have to make sure I'm gonna be ok somehow because something is definitely going on upstairs that I don't like and it's not a migraine.

Sorry, I did misunderstand your question then.

What symptoms are you experiencing?  Maybe we can help?

And, if you check out the OUCH website, there is a list of cluster-friendly neurologists categorized by state/province/territory/wigwam....  it's under the Recommended Doctors menu.
