Feel much better about my DH's neuro (M)

Had a million questions written down for him about things I learnd from this web site and all of your comments and suggestions and I got a lot of good information.

He will totally off of Topomax as of next Wednesday, he is Depakote 500 mg 2xs a day.  Headaches are non existent since 2/5.  We are hoping that the Depakote is the savior for us from these awful headaches.

Relpax makes my husband very tired so he gave him some samples of Imtrix to try and see if they help out better and with less side effects.

My husband has to have a liver ezynme test done to make sure everything is working and that his body is accepting it at a theraputic level.

Thanks for all your support, words of encouragement and all the information it has been very helpful!

Cathy, what did the neuro say about the oxygen?

And, I have to ask....what does "DH" stand for?

Yes DH is darling Husband.

I pushed the issue of O2 instead of using drugs and the Neuro said for sure he can try it but we know Relpax works and if you want to try it I can write the prescription and make sure that the medical supply company understands what exactly you need.  He was pretty POd that they got it wrong.  Tim said for now I will stick with what works.  So it was up to him to decide.  I understand and can't blame him for wanting to stick with what works.

PUSH THE O2 on hubby anyway...Trust this CHer!!!!

He can use it along with the meds if he wants or can use it for the "lower level" ones that suck but are not necessarily worth the meds......

It can't hurt and can only give him another weapon!

Hugs and if you want him to talk to some one in his position seriously......PM me and I will give you my #

Hang tough!!
