IM messages - Outbox retrieval

Can't access my outbox...how many messages can I keep before I have to start picking the ones to delete???
Is that the problem - why can't I see my outgoing messages...?

theoretically there is no limit to the number of messages kept.
But all the messages are kept (and added any time) in a text file. This file can be corrupted by the high number of writings.
You could ask DJ to delete this file, and start again.
A note: if you can, don't delete just SOME messages (at least, save them in a WORD file) but delete ALL the messages. This resize the file to zero bytes, avoiding corruption for long time.

Ok, so I saved my inbox messages (whew!)... deleted them all. So now I'm down to 1 message in my inbox.
I of course STILL cannot view any of my outbox messages. I think you may be right Riccardo...
