In the past Bill and his group have donated their musical talent and time for a worthy cause and this is another one that certainly deserves any help this loving family can give.

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin a group of extremely dedicated volunteers are raising funds for kidney transplant patient, Mira Raether.

This darling little girl, who never seems to stop smiling, and her two healthy brothers are triplets. Mira was born on October 29, 2005, and was soon diagnosed with renal failure. Doctors at Wisconsin Children's Hospital in Milwaukee have recommended a life-saving kidney transplant. An estimated $100,000 will need to be raised by Milwaukee volunteers.

A fund-raiser is being held for Mira on Sunday June 22, 2008 at

The thing that just rips my heart out is that Mira has ports built into her torso, and her parents perform dialysis on her every single night. Nobody should have to live that way if there's an alternative.

Bumping again for Mira.

I made good on my promise!  8-)

Poor kid!  :'(

The fund-raiser last night was a great success! We helped raise over $4,000 to help Mira get her new kidney.

We'll be doing this kind of thing again on Sept. 5, outdoors and with a pig roast.

Now all Mira needs to do is get a little bigger (so her little body can accomodate a kidney that will serve her for life), and a donor needs to be found. Raising the money will be the easy part.

Please keep Mira in your prayers.
