Clusterbusters is proud to announce our third annual conference!   :)

2008 Clusterbusters Conference

In affiliation with the University of West Georgia, which is sponsoring the event, we will be staying at the New Crowne Plaza, Atlanta Airport.
Room Rates will be $92.00 each for single and/or double occupancy. Upgrades are available for $30.00

Registration information will be available soon on the conference web page, for both the hotel and the conference, and will be announced shortly.

Dates for the conference are October 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2008.

Confirmed speakers are:
~Dr. John Halpern
~Dr. Andrew Sewell
~Teri Robert  (Author and well known patient advocate, and was awarded the National Headache Foundation's Patient Partners Award in 2004 for her "ongoing patient education, support and advocacy."
~Dr. Ken Lazarus ( Dr. Lazarus practices Neurology in Fayetteville and Griffin, Georgia. Dr. Lazarus graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine)
~Rick Doblin Ph.D  Maps Founder

More speakers will be added and will be announced as they are confirmed.


There will be panel discussions devoted to the treatments of, and the Doctor - Patient relationships involved in, cluster headaches. Discussions headed by Larry Schor PhD, LPC
Associate Professor and Coordinator of Therapeutic Services, U. of West Georgia.

CME's (Continuing Medical Education credits) will most likely be offered but are still in the works as of this date.
There will be Certificates of Completion awarded by the University of West Georgia.

Additional information, including transportation, meals, and assorted included festivities, will be available soon.

Nani you know that sounds like a very well planed event. If its not race week end, I would love to attend. If Its race week end, I will drop by in the evening. I love to meet so many of you, I would really enjoy the speakers.

With the promotion and all, I'm hoping that I'll be settled in and up to speed enough to make it.  

There is no possible way to make Dallas, way too soon after the transition, but October should be easier.  It will depend on the rates for flights.  Pencil me in Nani and Bob.

Nani?  mistress of ceremony?   Oh wow...I may need to be there just to see that one. lol    Not to mention I have wanted to meet you, Bob for just the longest time now.

Buddy said he will be up by the motel Tomorrow he will check it out and see if there is a place for your semi ! Its not right in Atlanta. its close to the airport. I am sure if you show up we will find a place for your truck.

Gimme Driving room! Close to home and wouldn't miss it.

I'm currently in the process of selling my far too big house but if it doesn't move in the next month (when it will go off the market) I can provide free lodging if someone/s needs it. About 35 mins north of where the convention will be taking place.

Anyone willing to split the cost of a room?  I'm hoping I can lock in those vacation days very soon before the cost of airfair goes up again.  If someone is willing to split the cost of a room for T-F-S-S nights I'm as close to "there" as I can get.

how big is your driveway??? ;D

Driveway big enough to accommodate an RV, no kiddin'. There's a lower drive that's been made for a boat and heavily treed thus an ideal spot for yer rig.

I'll know soon about the house status and will report back.

3 years now I have not been able to attend this conference.

Well the craft show was good and the weather was gorgeous today but I sure wish I could have been in Atlanta today! Be sure to update with pictures and thanks again for all you have done for Lisa and everyone else!
