That age and treachery, will overcome youth and skill EVERY TIME!!!
Last Sunday, "C'mon Dad I'll kick your ass at golf" I shot 45, he shot 60! (9 holes) Lol This past Wednesday, "Dad, lets arm wrestle!" Took me 3 seconds to whip his ass!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol Today, "Lets play horse shoes cause I'll kick your ass" score was jimmers 21, Andrew 9. Lol I'm 45, he's 19. I am going to hold on to this lead as long as I can because I'm sure he'll be kicking my ass in no time, but it sure is fun when your winning. :D I do need to be careful though, Andrew will be the one picking out my nursing home!!!!!!!!!! ;D Life is FUN sometimes 8-) Jimmers |

I remember the first time I beat my Mom at Scrabble. I was about 18, and it was a banner day for me, LOL. It meant I was really an adult.

The hell with letting him win! Hold on to it as long as you can. And maybe you can give me some golf lessons. I just shot a 105 the other day and came real close to throwing my putter in the pond.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones. My oldest son told me that he has my "home" all picked out. It is a REALLY nice new bridge that I can live under. AND there is a stagnant pond right near by to use too. (Although, from what I hear, it is sometimes a bit fragrant, what with the runoff from the nearby pig farm) And my other son said he would even spring for a NEW refrigerator's cardboard box to live in! <sigh> I guess my boys REALLY love dear ole dad! Final 18 hole score at Hawthorn Hills GC, Fredonia, Wi.
Jimmers 87 Andrew 101 All in all, he still made some good shots and I will continue to try to teach him! (Heck of a five iron) He's getting there!!!!!!!! Jimmers who had a great day with his oldest Son. Besides the nursing home thing, He's going to be a Milwaukee cop in one year. I may need that perk! :D |
