Title: Midsummer in Pictures
Post by sandie99 on Jul 5th, 2008 at 5:57am
Here's my favourite pictures out of the 55 I took. I hope you'll like them as well. :)

Timo and my mother are lifting the Finnish flag to mast

Thanks for sharing the pics Sanna. I can almost picture sitting in those chairs at the pier sipping a morning coffee and watching the lake. Nice pic of your mom and Timo. :)

Thank you, Barry. :)

The Pier is a nice place to sit, relax and eat something. We have many times had our meals there - just because the view is amazing!

A place in the woods on a secluded lake in Finland, beautiful and very fortunate, Sanna.  Mom looks good, her old home, too!  I see the little ones enjoy their cozy home oblivious of any surroundings.  Kasper's getting chubby.  ;)   Hope Timo didn't get his finger entangled and go up with the flag.

Thanks for sharing.

Kevin,
Kasper wants you to know that he's not getting chubby, but it's a bad pic of him... ;) Actually he is still skinnier than Eetu and both are in good shape for grown up guinea pigs.

Tony,
we are lucky indeed. The place has lots of sentimental value, especially to my parents, because they remember what the area looked like when they first started; just trees and stones. It took a lot of work and effort to turn it into the area it is now.

Sanna

Very beautiful place, Sandie.
I almost get envious at the sight of it, lol.

Greetings from my concrete jungle to the land of a thousand lakes.

Maalstroom.

KASPER:  Eetu, Eetu are you out there?  I'm in the cardboard tube, I think my butt is stuck.

EETU:  My little paws can't help, what do you expect me to do, use my nose to push?

KASPER:  Oh would you, pleeease?

EETU:  No way man, wait 'til Sanna's here, maybe she's got a plunger.

KASPER:  Oh no I can't let Sanna see me, I've been holding my breath to pull my tummy in when she's here.  She thinks I'm slim and trim."

EETU:  Welllll, I'll try pushing with my nose... OH MAN, WHAT THE...

KASPER:  Oh it's just a fart, mine don't smell.  Hey I'm free now, it was just gas making me bloated.  Eetu?  Eetu???

EETU:  Think Eetu, think.  Next time use the little paws, and a sharp pin.  Where am I, what day is it?

Thank you, Maalstroom. :)

Kevin, you should write comedy! That was brilliant! ;D Timo read it as well and he loved it, too. :)

Thank you so much, Tanya. If you want to see more pictures of Eetu and Kasper, I just added some:
