Yeah Chuck, been thinking the same thing myself. Guess I'll head up to Dallas to see what the devil has invaded MY state here.... Hate to leave the country here, but guess it's my "duty" to check it out.... Meet ya up there about Thursday sometime.

Since she has been here she has ben trying to poison me with healthy food and stuff like that.  I don't know if I will survive to meet you all in Dallas.  I'll do my best and will try and keep the Witches evil spells from getting to the rest of you!

Damn!  I wish I was going to Dallas to see all of you again.  

It would be perfect because our company just signed a contract with a manufacturer in Dallas.  I could have traveled completely on company money! You know, come in a day early, visit the factory, and write the whole thing off.

Alas, I also knew that the minute I went to the convention, my daughter would give birth to my granddaughter.  She's going to the doc on Thursday and they will probably induce.  Getting from Dallas to Wilmington, NC fast is a lot harder than jumping in my car and driving 3-1/2 hours.

My decision has to stand.  I won't be in Dallas, but I hope you all have the best time.  Please Chuck, give hugs and kisses to everyone (yes, everyone) from me.

Oh drats Sandy -- now we'll have to "talk" about you.. :D :D :D  Ok, If the choice was between Chers or a new grandbaby -- there's no choice, but we'll miss you... Let us know when the baby gets here and we'll have a convention toast to the newbie...(the least we can do ;))

As if things aren't bad enough, there'll also be an Aussie there this year.  Strange sort of bloke who uses various surnames (Goes-By, Goads-Bi's, Gods-Buy, God-Speed) and passes himself off as some sort of proffessor.

Somehow, it's never his turn to buy the beer.

Two years ago, while at the Milcon convention, my daughter-in-law gave birth to my first grandson.  They were fine, waiting till I got there AFTER the convention to see my first grandbaby!
