We're going to be at Niagara on August 3rd along with Peppermint and her daughter Ericka. We're hoping Carol (Grandma Sweet Boy) will be with us dependant on grandbaby number eleventy twelve putting in a timely appearance!

I'm hoping as many of you in the area as possible can make it, everyone is welcome - there can never be too many clusterheads!

I'm planning a get together in NYC as well and will be posting a date for that later this evening after Paul has spoken to his friend Joe about when suits him for us to come down so all you NY'ers and NJ'ers and even Pensylwhatchamacallits had better be ready with your diaries  ;)

Post here or pm and give me a phone number so we can get in touch, Deb I have your number so will definitely call you as I'm busting to meet you! I'm hoping sommeone has an email for Kimh as well in case she doesn't check in beforehand.

I printed out the driving directions for the hell of it and would shit a brick if Jesse said yes.  Would cost us $300 in gas plus food and 2 nights in a hotel, but it'd be worth it...

Well, I just called Jesse at work and he has that weekend off.  It'd be a 13 hour drive one way, but he said that'd be a neat idea and he'd like to see the falls (as would I) before they disappear.  Said we'd talk more about it later.

I'd keep my fingers crossed, but I don't have an ounce of luck in me anyway. :P

Having spent a good many years living only a couple hours away from the falls, I've seen them in spring, summer, winter, fall, been under them, over them and experienced them in every way possible.....save one.

I've never seen Niagara falls with a LeLimey next to them (although I've seen them with many of my limey relatives next to them ;) )

Sadly I will not be able to make it, something about having to move that weekend that Clark says makes it impossible for me to go *sigh*

It doesn't look good for NYC either - we leave Omaha on the 4th and arrive in Asheville NC on the 7th-ish then have to arrange the delivery of our household goods and register the kids to start school on the 14th so the 9th isn't a likely date either :(

Maybe I'll just have to meander to Upstate before you leave :)

Well, we had a wonderful time!  Helen, Patty, Erica and I enjoyed the beautiful weather and the awesome scenery.  Went on the Maid of the Mist and the Cave of the Wind.  I have been to the falls once before many years ago but never went on the tours so it was a first for all of us.  I would post pictures however Being stupid I ligged a heavy camera around and took may "pictures" and when I got home I discovered that there was no memory card in the fucking camera.  

Thankfully Helen, Patty and Erica DID have cards in their cameras!!!  

I swear I am one year away from being totally scenile and leaving the house with no pants on!  LOL
