Anyone ever wonder why the Democrats want us to drain the strategic oil reserve, and magically go green while putting our country’s back up for the military at risk?
They don’t want to drill, or build reactors, but ethanol is fine because it makes everything related to corn skyrocket in price bringing them more taxes and further enslaving the working class victim of their forward thinking policies. They want to raise the gas tax for their ear marks when they tell us we need to stop using fossil based energy supplies. They count on the fact you the uneducated consumer will not notice the deeds they have perpetrated on you! We the people need realistic politicians that understand IT JUST DON’T happen overnight. Al Gore would be the finest example of this propaganda. Americans need to buck up and join together to resolve this energy crisis or we’ll always be 10 years behind the curve! The engineers these days can build reactors that are far safer than Three Mile Island (A flawed and incorrectly over scaled model of a navy ship power plant). Without nuclear energy how will we charge the batteries on the electric cars we will have to drive to get to work, or do we only work on sunny days when photo voltaic cells on your rickshaw will get you there. Then again do they even realize that they won’t be getting much revenue from workers that can’t get there to earn the payroll? Thinking like a utopian can put America so far behind the major economic powers globally, that we may never recover. I don’t want to ever see that day come, but it’s on the horizon. When I was four years old, we put a man on the moon. Now that I’m 43 I see it all slipping away slowly but surely. Roland. ::) |

Why?......looks like we have plenty! July 23 (Bloomberg) -- The Arctic may hold 90 billion barrels of oil, more than all the known reserves of Nigeria, Kazakhstan and Mexico combined, and enough to supply U.S. demand for 12 years, the U.S. Geological Survey said. ;) Bro, the "new democrats" i.e. Pelosi, Boxer, Kinchrich (sp?) would like nothing more than have the USA become a third world country. They don't want prosperous happy people, they want unhappy people that live hand to mouth and are uneducated. They can then pander to them, fill their minds full of class warfare and racial division and turn around and say how good the dems will make their lives. It is a joke. Without poor and unhappy people the democratic party would cease to exist. How many of the dems practice what they preach about carbon footprints? Zip, nadda, zilch! -P. |

Not every reporter covering Barack Obama's world tour is entranced by the words and imagery of the Democratic candidate. On Thursday's "Good Morning America," political correspondent Jake Tapper jabbed at Obama's overconfidence, describing the senator's July 24 speech in Berlin as "one the Obama campaign is billing at almost presidential. Even though he is not the president."
Reporting from inside the Obama plane, Tapper complained in a snarky tone, "Inside, the plane has been redesigned to separate the senator and his staff from us lowly reporters." He added that Obama officials told journalists that they could brief reporters as anonymous officials. Tapper grumbled, "One of them said that's what we did at the White House during the Clinton years. We pointed out they don't work at the White House." Regarding the Obama plane, the ABC journalist also pointed out: "The American flag on the tail wing has been replaced by an enormous Obama O."
