It about drove me nuts trying to remember who sang that song in my past memory.

Randy Travis was the one I was sure sang the version I remembered.

I searched around for an hour trying to find the song and finally found it.

Because Randy didn’t write it, Keith Whitley did.

Allison Krouse does it even better than Randy did.

Now for Momma moose, She’s looking a little raged (must be molting).

I guess I would too after chasing those twins around.

Of course I had to have my kids watch with me because they love anything to do with animals and Liz could not stop saying how cute it was.  Then she surprised me and said she wanted to run through the sprinkler with the moose...lol...now that would have been a site to see!

The song was a big part of it, but to me it looked like a Mom watching her kids run through a good time moose water park.

There is just something about baby animals - the way they're all legs and the gangly run on them. Aaaawwwwww!!!!!

Oh I loved it!  I had tears in my eyes. :)

There are lots of mama's with babies right now.  I had a mama turkey and her little ones cross the road in front of me.  There was one left behind on the side and I almost hit mama when she turned to go back and get it, but (and this is the only time I swear turkeys are smart) she waited until myself and the car behind me passed before attempting again.  She did make it back over there to get it. :)

Mooshie, Sara and I watched this last night and discussed the same thing. When mama first arrvies, she looks at the cameraman, takes a step forward ... and then relaxes. Totally cool ... she feels her babies are safe and they just continue playing.
