We're still going to be in NYC and thought about meeting up at the Heartland Brewery at the South Street seaport, I loved it there last time!

What are the plans for the day?  I'm trying to convince Jason to make the trip with me, as I don't want to go to NYC by myself from here - but he is worried about the cost.  This because I am out of work right now with the infection and we are moving in a month, which is decidedly expensive!

So.......curious to hear what you've got planned!  I definitely want to come if I can convince Jason!

Jim - are you going?  Are you going by yourself or with someone?  If we all end up going, do you want to travel together?  Last time Jason and I went to NYC, we drove to Trenton and took the train into Penn Station.  That wasn't too bad - gas costs for the drive to Trenton and then $12.50 each way (I think?) on NJ Transit.

Carrie- I am pretty sure that I am going to go. I will give you a call tomorrow. I am planning on driving. I have an Expedition so there is plenty of room for anyone from the Philly area. I will also call the witch and find out the plan.

We're looking at being there (Heartland) for about 2pm but if Jim gives me a ring later then he can update you all if we change anything, if he doesn't know then Patty will and she will post I'm sure.

About to head out the door to drive down to the city, the only reason I won't answer is if I'm in a crappy signal area and it doesn't get through so if you miss, give it a short while and try again

This is a really cool little spot, right at the Seaport, Pier 17.

It's a good spot to have beers and a bite, they specialize in their own brews, very yummy, and I'm not a big beer drinker... most people who like beer love this place.  If ya don't care for it, there are other nice joints around the area, cool area to stroll around in too.  There are also street performances and its near the water so you can take a ride on THE BEAST (a very fast speedboat) if you like - fun ride :)

I'm sorry I won't be there. :(  I really wasn't feeling so great today, so we're not going to be able to make it.  Need to have a weekend close to home,  I think!

P.S. Helen I guess I will just have to officially fly to England for another trip to give you your suitcase back.  Someday - I promise!  hehe  Jason won't let me move to England because I won't let him move to Virginia.  I don't really think it's a fair trade, but what do I know! ;)  :-*
