Well, Charlotte (Cash5542) has the official pictures from today's luncheon, but I just wanted to say what a blast I had with Lisa (swimchica), Charlotte (Lisa's mom - Cash5542), Matt (I'm sorry Matt - I don't know your CH.com screenname!), and Matt's mom, Janice.

Lisa (and Charlotte) was up for an appointment at the Headache Center, Matt and his mom were there for some testing, and I drove down to meet them and take  care of some paperwork.

I don't want to give away anyone's personal medical conversations without their consent, but all I can say was that it was a great experience and great to connect once again with others who understand what it is like to have CH!  OK well I'll have to give away one thing and say it was also great to meet one of the 3 (including me) people that my neurosurgeon has implanted this particular combination of leads in for a stimulator.  We all had a lot to talk about!

I'm hoping that Lisa, Charlotte, Matt, and Janice all had safe travels home!!  Charlotte, I'm counting on you to post or email the pics, because I definitely want copies!! :)

In the end, all I can say is that there is never enough time, and, as usual, there is nothing like meeting another clusterhead!!

Awww Chuck!  Now I feel bad!  Actually there are lots of people even in the immediate area, but we never really arranged this much ahead of time!

I knew Lisa and Charlotte were coming up for Lisa's appointment, and so I had offered to drive in and meet them for lunch.  I actually didn't know that Matt and his mom would be there until Charlotte called me as I was parking my car and said, "Guess who we ran into?" or something like that!  Somehow they found out each other was down at Jefferson, so we all got together!

It was a bit impromptu!

You would have definitely added to the life of  the party, however!  Although us CH yunguns do know how to have a good time together...! ;) :-P

okay here are some pictures...we will have to do this again with better planning!

Carrie, Matt, and me in the downstairs lobby at Jefferson Hospital (we did meet after dr appts after all!) Matt was the first CHer I met when we were placed in neighboring rooms, and then I got to meet Carrie when she visited me in the hospital last year.  I thought it was really neat to walk out of those doors together.  Matt thought it would be neat to stop the automatic doors from moving.

It's a 25 minute drive for me into Center City, but I do it almost every single day for one reason or another so it seems like 2nd nature.  It'll be a bit farther once I move to PA/DE line next month!

We have so many CH'ers in this general area, we really must all get together soon! :)
