Sounds like FUN!! That looks like a beautiful course. We sure don't have trees like that here.
Good luck and have a great time! ~Kris |

Kind of hard to read. But does that card say that you're entered in the century cup? Good luck man. Centuries aren't easy.
The Mid-West Recumbent Rally is this weekend also. [smiley=smokin.gif] |

Thanks everyone. It is 6:00am and it has stopped raining for now! [smiley=bow.gif]
I have butterflies in my stomach and nervous about doing this, but I will be fine once I get started racing. Will post a couple of pics when we get back home. Must get ready to get muddy! ;D |

Well thankfully Mike (owner of the cycling center) had wash stations set up so we were able to get somewhat clean but there was no change room so we had to do what we had to do to get into dry clothes. Yup, strip down behind the car door and get changed in the parking lot :-[
Angie did not race but took a bunch of photos and vids so we can make a DVD of the event. Last week our holidays got canceled so we could not make the Niagara meet but we are both off this week and doing mountain bike day trips and todays adventure is taking us and our four friends to Algonquin Park, a real majestic forest indeed. Lots of moose and other critters here. We will take the camera with us and share them when we get home. I had a blast racing but this is more our way of riding, should be a lot of fun. :) Barry |

I just noticed, you have gripless pedals on your bike. I prefer the Shimano MTB PM-540 pedals. They're lighter. And perhaps give me a few more Watts of power with each stroke. YMMV
