Title: The Few, The Proud, and one of us

My "adopted" brother and one of my best friends that many of you know, Barak, left today for the marines. I don't have any thing he wanted me to tell you because he left early this morning while I was still asleep and didn't say goodbye. But it doesn't matter. I thought that he would want his cluster family to know. May he return home safely and find everything he's looking for while he's out in the world.

Thank you for your prayers and vibes. I'll be sending this link to him in an email when he can get to a computer again. Yesterday was very hard on me personally but thanks to the support you all showed my brother I was able to make my way through it. It meant a lot to me and I know it will mean a lot to him. Thank you again and please keep him in your thoughts if you can.

Keep in mind that boot camp is only a mind game and a time to break you as an individual to become one with the corp.

My son is 2 years in and only talks of making it a career.

Just because I was bored out of my mind, I went to look for Barak's myspace. Well not only was his last long today, 6 days after he was suppose to have left, but I find a little note saying that he's NOT leaving this month like he was suppose to. Needless to say, little sister is NOT happy. >:( The least he could have done was told me or left me an email or replied to those that I sent him.
