I'll be wary of anyone who starts patting my butt with a handheld device.  Maybe I'll move my wallet to the center front to make it more difficult and a little more interesting.  Can't wait to go to walmart and dig my wallet out of my crotch.

The guy on the news program is wrong about distances for a read on proximity RFID technologies.

They use receiver antennas that are 3’ X 5’ at the airport to open drive gates and those readers can read up to 12 feet with the card on the dash board.

When I did contract work at General Dynamics, none of their sensitive areas are accessible by proximity read without a pin input.

I’m sure the banks will eventually find the need to require a pin input on EZ Pass transactions to prevent wide spread fraud.

Great topic to be aware of Jonny  8-)

Rolo..

Edit to add; A guy may look like he is carrying a wrapped up picture frame and you wouldn’t think any thing of it!
