I could use a new pair of shoes.  Something to wear with dress pants or jeans.  In black....

Time to hit Kohl's!!!

I hate shoe shopping, I buy one pair of winter shoes , wear them out then buy one pair of summer shoes repeat for work and one for home.

I cannot stand any more the process  of blisters, etc etc etc breaking in new shoes.

But I do love Holey/Croc shoes, they are the most comftable shoe ever invented, I wish I could wear them to work

amended to correct spelling mistakes I can see

I love shopping for shoes!  I find a pair I like, buy 2 pair and I'm good for 2.68 years.

Tennis shoes, leather, solid white, buy 2 pair and I'm good to go for 1.82 years.

Snip those toes off and you'll be an 8 overnight.

Just here to help.

I tell my daughter she has hobbit feet (minus the hairs) They are big but they are so very very wide, it has all made for a difficult time getting good shoes, always a choice of one or two pairs only :-/

Probably better to leave them on.  It's very difficult to wear flip flops without them.

I LOVE SHOES -- It's just the shopping I hate..... But I'm EASY (go ahead Chuck - I know you're waiting!) - 5/1/2 to 6/1/2 B -- always fits NO PROBLEM. Never have to try them on -- See em buy em, take em home put em in the closet and put on the tennis shoes....

My closet looks like a shoe store... Got a pair of shoes to go with anything, any color, any style.... some never worn. But I LOVE SHOES!!!!

Humph - I have English size 3 feet - almost an american size five but not quite... and I haven't found a single pair of shoes here other than in the kids department that fit, it's not fair!

Oh well, the good thing about winter is boots still fit if they're too big, you can just fill em up with three pairs of socks! I bought two pairs of leather knee high boots last June for 5 and 7 pounds respectively - at least when I CAN  find shoes they're a bargain I suppose...

This is soooo not my thread.  I'm the guy in Pat's original post.  In spades.

OTOH, I've been trying to get El to wear shoes around the house, because she's been breaking her little toe lately--like two or three times in the past few months.  First time she did, it was legitimate, since she kicked a guy in the head during a Taekwondo match.  Last few times, she's just stubbed it against a counter or a chair.

I've heard that lefty's are klutzy.  Maybe it's true.

Got to admire the kid's moxie, though--she just says "ouch", and then tapes the poor swollen thing to the next toe, and goes about her business.

Far as I'm concerned, until she learns where her feet are, she ought to wear shoes.  Am I wrong?

Best,

George

George - We have a saying around our household: "You have to let them run around with their shoes untied."

Not enough parents let their kids trip and fall on their faces (both literally and figuratively). A good scrape to the proverbial face teaches the lesson far better than us saying, "You ought to tie your shoes, honey."

A thread about shoe shopping and how women love it.  This could possilbly be the oldest longest thread ever.  The snappy, buckelie lacy types from the 1870s will be back in style.  Maybe even my earth shoes.

Is it a fashion pho pa to wear a brown leather watch band with back shoes and a silver belt buckle if the watch is gold?

When you find yourself thinking that something's gone bad in the fridge, yet you're not near the fridge, try giving your sandals a sniff. It might be time. ;D

Noooooo!!   :(  LOL

I have a favorite pair of sandals that are no longer made (I called) that I just can't give up.  Tossed is the washing machine and sprayed with foot spray....poof! Good as new.......for around the yard anyway :)

I don't consider myself as a shopaholic - mostly because my best friend and aunt are. When me, my mother, my aunt and my best friend went to a cruise together, we came back with 11 pairs of new shoes - two for me, one for my mother and my aunt and best friend bought 4 pairs each.

I do love the shoes I love - and to prove it I had 4 old, broken pairs of favourites back at summer cottage. I still wear them, on occasion, back in there. And yes, you'll find be buying a new pair of shoes because the old pair is far too broken to be used again...

I did find a few years' back my Dream Shoes; my size, in perfect condition, on sale. Well, why didn't I buy them? Simply, because back then I was too young to decide that and my mother didn't like those shoes, after all they had heel! Evern since then I searched for another pair like it and I did get one pair, different color, same style, 3 years ago, but still... it's not the same! ;D
