48 but it's only because it was hard to drop in a couple of them accurately enough.
Next, they should do state capitals. That's always fun. Charlie |

Well I could have placed all 50, but the sun got in my eye, the ball took a bad bounce, it was a tough sky, the dog ate my homework......man I suck at geography!!!!!

34, but it's like if you drop it close, but not close enough, you get it highlighted in red. :(
Oh well, at least I sorta know where they go, lmao. |

And you will probably get them correct too. You are from the old school Charlie. I doubt they even teach that stuff anymore. Probably has to do with not wanting to offend the students heritage or somethng like that. ;) -P. |

BITE ME, George! THOSE were the easiest ones! (Of course it has no influence on it that I lived almost 50 years in New England!) ;) ;D The first time I did 48 of 51 ... One was not fair, though. When Hawaii came up, I tried to place it in the area where it ACTUALLY is. I got dinged for that one ... Another ding was WashDC ... I was not close enough. The second time, I was 51 of 51 ... Chuck, who is NOT as dumb as I look (no one COULD be that dumb) |

I'm a voracious reader Brew and I pick up all sorts of information along the way. Last September Paul and I both did a quiz in hs newspaper which was describing how few college students knew their history, so, for fun I did it and got ten out of ten, he did it too and got - six wasn't it Paul?!!
Just goes to show, time spent reading is NEVER wasted! |

40 out of 51. 78.43% score, avg error 57 miles, time 426 seconds.
So close on a lot of them. Just not close enough. Worst guesses were DC and Delaware. Not much of the map was filled in at that point. It sure got easier when more of the map was filled in. Got lost on a few in the midwest too. But I've spent my whole life up here in the North East so that shouldn't surprise anyone ::) Fun puzzle! -Dennis- |

When I was in 4th or 5th grade back in the Jurassic, our class had a big colorful wooden puzzle with the states as pieces (Small New England, etc, states were combined) that we kids did all the time. You got more exercise too moving around the pieces than from a cursor.

I got them all but Rode Island. Sucks. I guess it helps when you have been to all the states. I haven't been to Rode Island so that would explaine it. Good job Helen!!

I scored 36/50. Not bad really. Hard when you get them quite close, but not quite close enough. My average error was 89 miles.
