Yeah! I hear ya! My little ones love th swing. I feel like I've been pushing a swing for eternity now, like Conan pushing that big wheel until he was huge.

Yup, I'm with Helen. Get on the swing next to him and enjoy. I love to swing with my students during recess. The advantage of teaching elementary school is you don't have to grow up!

I am to old Helen !I walk with JD and swing, but to run any more forget it! I can still swing and climb a tree house. It is the running that stops me. LOL

LMAO Charlie!!  Reminds me of when I was about 12 yrs old and I went to my Grandparents and was swinging in the backyard when the damn seat broke.  I cried so hard because I thought it was due to me being fat. :-[

Swings are pure fun.  In the old days we had really tall swings at the playground.  You'd never see them like that now for liability reasons.  We used to swing way high, then as your feet came up, do a flip and launch out of the swing for maximum distance.  Kind of like high diving without the soft landing.  The better parks had huge sand pits around the swings, so bad landings were never too much trouble, although I did see one kid snap his leg on the landing.  Pure fun.

Swings are cool but they seem to be making the seats a bit smaller than I remember. ::)

Tire swings, rope swings, regular swings....all are cool.
