I finally got to a computer and had to come and thank you for the wonderful care package of tea and treats.  I truelly appreciate you thinking of me . My brother joey was jealeous when he saw that i got such a big present :).  Of course i shared though..  And ive been sharing with David too, who is doing better than ive ever seen. He started drinking caffine drinks instead of alcohol, so in the morning ( or afternoon for us howells  ;D )   I brew both of us a cup of tea, and weve been getting along alot better.  I just wish i could find those cookies with lemon and strawbery filling  here!  I havent been able to get anything like them.    Thank you again for thinking of me,

Helen is wonderful. She has been sending JD post cards from places she is visiting. He has just jumped up and down this week, I think he has received 4 post cards and I even got one. That lady knows how to make everyone smile!

  For those of you who don't know...Daniel is my youngest son and was in that horrific head-on collision a few yrs. ago.  At that time I had shown Helen the pictures of his back as well as the totalled truck he had been so lucky to not die in.  His friend who was driving,  was not so lucky.

 Upon seeing those pictures, Helen was almost moved to tears and she sent Daniel a boat-load of tea and crumpets from England.  This year in Dallas....she brought more for me to send to him.

Glad you got to a computer son.   ;)

I'm proud to have been able to send you something Dan. You've been a huge inspiration to me y'know. You fought back from the edge of life, I saw that car, I saw the pics of you and your mum is right and wrong, I was moved - but way past the point of tears.

You went through hell and I know that, the pain and trauma you endured would have killed a lesser person but not only did you fight back, you came here and were willing to help other kids of cluster headache sufferers. You didn't see "what could be done for you" but rather "what you could do to help" and you showed in that everything that is so good and so flipping fantastic about America.

I didn't want "to help" you - I wanted to give back.

You are an inspiration, you are incredible and you had better not forget it because, like your lovely, adorable mum, I'm short but mean! ;)

As for those biscuits - and I CAN call them that 'cos they're from the UK - I think you might find some more of them headed your way! you might have to have some more of the Jaffa cakes as well though, they were from Jasper who calls them "Jasper cakes" - they're his favourites! He picked them because they were for my friends little boy from my little boy - he made me get all choked with that statement and I couldn't refuse him.. not that I wanted to, I was pretty proud of him!

This woman has singlehandedly walked me through my CH problems, and personal problems through PMs and phone.  She has always been there for me, good times, bad times, fun times and sad times.

I love this lady dearly and wish she permanently lived CLOSER TO ME!
