The official end of summer.  Seems like it was just Memorial Day last week.  Time flies!

Well, although it would be nice to go see Brew's band, we cannot afford it and already promised to take the kids to the fair tomorrow as it's wristband night and we haven't taken them to any fair all year. :-[

Jesse works the rest of the time, Sat., Sun. & Mon., so we'll just be hanging out here.... I'll probably bake a bunch of sweet treats or something if I'm not too tired. :)

Work, work and work everyday....and this is just the calm before the storm. When the storm hits it will be work everyday, but only more hours........I fuckin love it!$$$$$$$$$  [smiley=headbanger.gif] (Can one work more than 60 hours a week?....LOL)

Jackie you are right it does seem like yesterday.

Tomorrow my brother will be here to put in the last window on the room we had built on.  I will be helping him and homeschooling at the same time. Then Saturday it's yard day, we have had so much rain we need to mow the yard. Deveny and JD will be going to the art gallery for his art class. If we get done with the lawn early enough we plan to watch the Bulldogs and cook out. Then Sunday we will be rubbing each others back from all the yard work and the hang over we are going to have.
Sunday Church, then go see Mom, then come home watch the race.
Monday we plan just to relax and do a lot of nothing.

Sunday, about 3 blocks from me, is the Labor Day antique car show....where I get to look at cars my age, bands, barbeque, and souvenir stands....along with the best fireworks display of the year.

The nicest week-end of the summer coming up weather wise for our area, so all the outdoor stuff we can do in the next three days! The three B's: Biking, Beer & BBQ"n!!

Been sick the last two days with a freak spike in my BP, 242/124 tuesday night, then drastic lows at 80's/40's for the last two days.  I'm weak and tired and dizzy.  Thisis the longest I've sat upright in 2 days. Tomorrow was already scheduled for vacation day, so I HOPE I'm feeling better by monday.

If I stabolize and start feeling better I have crab legs in the freezer to make on the grill with steaks for the kiddo's and myself for an end of summer treat.  Will need to get a salmon filet for Meg, as she doesn't do crab legs.

Other than that go school shopping.  Clothes, supplies, I think my account will be zeero before the weekend is over. :D

I've just been making chili to take up to the cabin tomorrow, we're weekending at the lake with Pauls parents who I absolutely love. They are simply wonderful and I can't spend enough time with them, I love them.

Pauls dad has said he's going to teach me to shoot to! If that's not enough to scare the bejabbers out of you lot I don't know what bloody well is!

It's a bitter-sweet weekend for me, its my last one here and much as I want to go home for some reasons, I can't bear the thought of leaving either... it doesn't get any easier damnit. Too many people I love and all too far apart....

I'm going to make the most of every minute though!

I hope you all have the very best of everything. I hope you all have smiles and sunshine and if you can't have sunshine, well - have a rainbow instead.

We're heading to The Arden Fair on Saturday, John's band is playing at the After Arden Fair Party along with a few other bands, we'll watch the race Sunday and get the motor home cleaned and race ready on Monday.  18 days till we hit Dover Speedway!!!

We're headed for Michigan's southwest shore this morning. It's less than an hour from here.  Lake Michigan is beautiful......lighthouses, pretty beaches, huge dunes, bluffs.......then there are lovely places to eat (on the water), quaint shops, etc.  

Blake hasn't been over there much so I'm really excited to show him the sights.  I think he'll enjoy it.

Little driving trips are so much fun and the weather looks sunny & cool for today......perfect.

Finishing touches on our house as we prepare to put it on the market. Yesterday I finished the kitchen..so, now, it's gonna be hermetically sealed and NOONE can use it till the house sells!

I am going fishing about 5 tonite just a couple of hours too. Going next town over from DavCon at Bettendorf Ia (where many IFC fighters train). Will be at the Lock and Damn 14 going for catfish and anything else that will take my bait lol. Best friend Dave going too so thats my only plan oh forgot tomorrow grand daughter Olivia's 5th birthday Ü got her a tee ball and bat and glove she will be an olympic softball player in about 12 - 14 years Ü. Everyone enjoy the weekend and be safe. Terry (will post pics of any good size fish caught and Olivias party C_U)

Steam cleaned the carpets, cleaned the pool, cleaned the bathroom, did laundry, cleaned the kitchen, went on various errands with wife and kids, took kids for a walk, ate dinner drank 4-5 beers and here I am.  I friggin tired .  missed a day of college football.  Missed the Phillies game.  But I have a clean house and to me, that is gratifying.  Im a neat freak who may need professional help.

Kev, Im right there with ya. Cleaned everything AGAIN. Scrubbed the floors on my hands and knees, didnt do shit for fun...... and now sitting here at nearly midnight in my very clean house with nothing more to look forward to but more cleaning and cookng.  Yeah well.

Did a little of that myself today-  went through my kids closets and drawers-  got of rid of clothes of theirs that don't fit anymore (  don't really know why my 7 yo has clothes for a 3 year old still in her drawer other than just my pure laziness)   cleaned the house, doing massive amounts of laundry- still doing it.

Went Ritas Italian Ice with the family, met some friends there.  And then my son got a puppy today.  Wasn't planning on it-  but my hubby went to a yard sale this morning and went to a house that had free puppies that clearly werent' well taken care of.  They were giving them away.  I guess he couldn't resist .... So now we are back up to '4' dogs- one for each member of the family ::)    He named him splits ????? ( he's only 5)

My son is very happy though- his dog died when we were at Disneyworld last year-

going boating tommorrow and to the local fair monday....sure wish I had a pool in my backyard!
