Jimi announced on a different thread that he and Ruthie have been married for 40 years this weekend - how she hasn't rung his scrawny neck I'll never know!

You two must of gotten married really young. Neither one of you look old enough to be married that long. 40 years is really something to be proud of in this day and time.

Ruthie undoubtably had to have been a child bride (shame on you Jimi for taking such a young wife ;) ). Congratulations on 40 years together! We just celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and Sept., 14, we will have been together for 30 years.

Again, congratulations to 2 wonderful people who deserve only the best.

Well we just got back from our daughters. She had invited friends of ours, some we hadn't seen in a very long time. She had a video of our life starting from our childhood to now, over 180 photos with 60's music playing throughout the video. Of course Purple Haze was one of them. It was a great time and we feel so loved.
Thanks for the well wishes from our clusterhead family as well. I definately married up for sure. We love you guys!

40 years??? Wow. My older sisters' 39th anniversary this weekend too. To be married as long as you have and to still see the love you both have for each other is an inspiration to me.
