I guess I'm just worried about my CH Brothers and Sisters who live on the Gulf!

Just talked to a friend in Houston and she said gas was going up around $5 since yesterday.... someone's making a profit off this.... day before yesterday it was $3.13 ...

Here too Barb but that's not all.

Just went up the road to stock up on cigs and decided to top off the tank while I was at it. I noticed that the car across from me had just pulled off and left a 5 gallon can of gas.

I brought it with me when I went in to pay and the clerk told me to leave it outside by the window so when the customer came back they would see it.

No sooner did I step up to pay, the clerk, bolted from around the counter to chase the previous customer who had proceeded to steal the gas I had just set down.

Most all gas stations are running out and it's getting a little tense around here.

It's going to be fun.

OMG! Again?? Now, as they're talking about the Anniv of Katrina, Gustav rears it's ugly head??
I say, Steve, Edna.........anyone out there in the scope of Gustav, there's room here on the West Coast........and only disaster you'll encounter would be a lil ole Earthquake......somehow, I'd rather put my money on shifting plates........hurricanes, tornadoes-OH MY! Well, they scare the Beejeezers out of me!
Anywhoo.there's always room in OR for anyone who really wants to get away!!
