Got this about 5 mins ago. Zoey has been in mourning for the last month, then got a bad hot spot infection (thats the white spot on her face w/meds on it)

Does your dog carry things in his mouth?  I have a chesapeake bay retriever that even at 13 yo picks up pillows, shoes and stuffed animals  and walks around with them!  He ends up falling asleep on them looking much like your pup.

she has 3 favorites: Bear (see photo), Puppy, and Bunny. She carries them all around with her, depending on her "baby of choice" at any given moment.

She took Puppy with her to the vet's office and melted everyone there as she carried it with her and snuggled up with it in the waiting room!  lol

did I mention she is spoiled rotten?

Pets are priceless aren't they? We will never be without them.

Awwwwwww.... Of course I just can't imagine ANYONE spoiling a puppy.... ;)  Me? I'd NEVER do a thing like that..... (so why do I have an 80 pound mutt thinking he's a LAP dog and needing HUGS - in my LAP - paws around my neck - just like a big baby?????)

Reminds me of my friend's sweetheart chocolate lab (Hershey, doncha know).

When I visited he would dash into his room and bring out a toy to present to me. Wait around for the oohs and ahhhs, then dash for another. Eventually got up to ten, then the game began. Pick one, pick one, pick one, pleeeeeeeeeeese.....He would not so subtly nudge his "favorite", and if you didn't pick it, would pause for a second but then playtime was on...

He's gone now, but not forgotten, just like Charlotte.
