Yup, Charlotte is right. I just got off the phone with Ben. He said Pookiekins is doing fine, at his sister's house with the puppy.
I called his cell phone, but the barst'd has it shut off, and went right to voice mail. How DARE he? Didn't he KNOW that I was going to call him now? SHEESH!!! Chuck |

His sister's, is that where he painted the mural? Hope he is inspired further. :)
Maybe he's doing one on the ceiling now. A Michelanthonio |

YUP! That is the place! He has a LOT of detail work to do to finish it, so I am sure he is busy with it, AND the puppy. |

Hi guys and gals of clusterville... please excuse my long absence from posting. I am alive and well in York, Pa at my sisters home... this time I brought my older brother with me.
My brother Nick who is 64 years old is afflicted with onset Alzheimer's and at this stage is most comfy in my presence... he didn't recognize my brother-in-law and is having difficulty with remembering words, places and situations that have happened in the not so distant past. I've never had to deal with this sort of thing in such a close-up way before... so I guess I'm learning as we go along. My sister-in-law (Nick's wife) lost her mother to the disease several years ago and it about tore her apart. At that time she had the support of my brother and I think that's what held her together. Understandably she is at her wits end now and nearing burn-out... I'm very concerned that she will have a complete melt-down. This vacation for Nick is giving my sister an opportunity to see him while he still knows who she is. He doesn't have a clue who her children are. Last evening as Nick and I talked he expressed his frustration over what he's going through... there are times when he is aware that he isn't right... and it's heartbreaking to see the psychological and emotional pain that he's in. This is my older brother... the man I always looked up to as most kids do to there older brother... It's sad to watch him being erased from day to day. The beast hasn't been kind through this either... so life has been interesting. I'm not moaning nor complaining... I'm venting... all in all Life is still very good... and all of these situations thrown our way is an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and our loved ones... hopefully through it all we can find some way to maintain a loving spirit and a sense of humor. Thank you all for being here for me... I'm never far away... but sometimes distracted. with warm regards, Tony |

Thanks for checking in, Tony. Sounds as if everyone is doing the best they can with a challenging and difficult situation.
It's all we can do, sometimes. All the best to you and your family, George |

[smiley=hug.gif] Life certainly can be challanging at times.....to put it mildly. Knowing you it will get handled the best possible. You know where I am if you need me.
Much Love, Jackie |
