She had an 8-1/2 hour surgery on Monday the 25th, was in ICU for 5 days and has suffered a spinal cord injury, possibly from the nerves being pinched for so long, or possibly the positioning on the table for so many hours, or....?

She has no feeling or control of her right leg or foot, but we are all praying that rehab will bring some or all of it back.  The foot drop is on the left side.

There's still a long road of hard work ahead, but we have to stay optomistic for her sake and have positive thoughts.

Sorry to hear that there's been a setback, but I'm hopeful that those issues will resolve with time and care.  Judy's so strong and so courageous--I can't help but think that she will soon be on the mend.

Thank you for the update.  I have been thinking a lot about you and Judy lately and praying for the best!  I am sorry to hear of the current setback, but I am glad that you remain hopeful.  You sound ready for the long road ahead, and you know that no matter what, she couldn't keep going on in the state she was in.  I have faith that she will someday reach the end of this treacherous road and that she will be feeling much better!

You both remain in my thoughts and prayers!

I guess i don't know Judy but seems she is a loved member of the family and going through a real challenge in her life. so i will pray as well. i believe strongly in the power of prayer.
if a part of the body is hurt the whole body feels it and she is a part of the ch body. :-/
