I wish there were texts of all these ultra right wingers as it can take me as much as an hour.....sometimes more.....to download with dialup. I just can't do it. From the feedback, it looks like the standard patriotism crap that anyone using the first amendment is unpatriotic. If you are encouraged not to criticize what we do, that's really unpatriotic.

You're just going to have to come into the 21st century, Charlie. Get a DSL line.

So, when are you calling your local phone company? I don't think it's that much more than a regular phone line.

I have just dial-up too. Our phone company doesn't cover my neighborhood with DSL. It's all around me, but not here yet. And not only that, DSL is less expensive than dial-up.!!

We should have DSL by December. That's what I get for living out in the country (way out), HOWEVER, wouldn't trade it or anything.

Good grief, I live about as far out in the boondocks as anyone and they have DSL out here. This phone company sucks (the FCC and I are on first name basis right now) but the DSL is a LOT better than dial up and Hughes.net (and Hughes.net was a lot better than dial up).

But I still miss my cable net... But like Carolyn, wouldn't trade living in the country for it....

Charlie - give up a few beers and get the DSL...

Thanks Pete, very true and touching. Here is a bumper sticker that one of my customers who served duty with the Canadian military a few years ago had on the tailgate of his truck. I asked him if he minded me taking a pic of it and posting it on here and he said yes, absolutely.
