to Dennis and his lady wife who both turned 21 this week
(Look - don't blame me that they can't count, they wore their fingers to the bone raising all those kids!)

Dennis I'm sorry I wasn't able to get online to do this on time, I'm just so glad we have some GOOD things to acknowledge on the 11th

Took everyone to Salvatore's in Lawrence. It's a taste of the North End up on the North Shore. The food at this place is awesome and I can't recommend it enough. Lobster Ravoli for me. Andrea had the Eggplant Parm.

Anyway, dinner was great! 15 of 16 made it. My CPA Son-in-law got called away last minute on Friday to do a weekend audit in Cleveland OH. Brigette made it from home from Smith despite a ruptured ovarian cyst :o Now that's dedication. We told her to stay at school but she insisted. Her boyfriend Cory drove out to picked her up.

I got some funny cards from the kids as usual + the bill at the end of the night ::)

I'm not complaining though. It was a small price to pay to have everyone together.

After dinner we all went back to the house where the rain that was predicted actually held off so we could have a back-yard fire. I even had a few beers with no ill-effects. Either the Verapamil is keeping the beast at bay or my cycle may have ended.

Now that would be a nice birthday present 8-)

Bloody hell Dennis - you cradle snatcher! You don't look old hon but Andrea looks illegal - tell me again how many kids you have cos I'm struggling believing it!

PS I hope Brigitte is feeling better soon, that's the same name (but a few ceturies apart!) as my daughter Brid! She sounds pretty wonderful and obviously adores the two of you to do that - a fitting testament to you both :)

I'm not one to divulge a woman's age but let's just say Andrea didn't want to be having babies in her 40s and our youngest is now 5 ;)

Yes, that beautiful woman decided to marry me some 28 years ago. I have no idea how I pulled it off but there you have it.

(Something about a swelling belly and a shotgun. My memory isn't clear on the topic...)

So we married young. Fortunately for her I'm the only one aging ::)
