Dyl is going to be driving in the Trailer Race for the Eve of Devistation night at the Marshfield track.

It's a night of mayhem on an oval.

His first and probably only race...but I'm headed out to go see it.

He raced in a number of the special event races tonight, but that trailer race about did me in. 4th turn on the 1st lap he was rear ended into the trailer which sent him into a roll over into the retaining wall. My heart stopped for what felt like forever. He walked away from it, but damn that was one emotional ride I don't want to EVER take again. I'm so tired now I can hardly see straight.

He's fine. No injuries, just a bit of a headache from the helmet hitting the roll bar. He was in a full size van gutted out to do this and no 4 point harness, just the regular seat belt.

All I can say was that is was one hell of a week, and I'm so glad it's over.
