That is so funny!

Chester opens doors in and outwards. When we first had him, we had a nightmare with him escaping and sleeping in the bed. So we hatched a plan and tied the kitchen door shut with dressing-gown ties. Imagine our surprise when we found him in the hallway with the door still tied and our other dog Ruby still in the kitchen... Over the day, he'd stretched the tie just enough to squeeze out but it still had enough elastic in it to ping the door shut again!!

When we emailed the rescue home we got him from with this story, she emailed us back one about the day they went shopping and came home to find 14 rescue greyhounds tearing up their yard because Chester had let them all out of the house! He, of course, wasn't outside, but snuggled up in their bed whilst the others caused chaos!

Funny how she didn't mention this BEFORE we brought him home...  ;D

That was cute.   :)

I kept coming home to find the basement door wide open.  Of course, I blamed the kids, but they would always deny leaving the door open.  One day my hubby and I were doing some work outside and one of my dogs, Blackie, was in the basement and wouldn't come out so we closed the door.  Next thing we knew, Blackie was outside and the door was wide open!  We have lever type door handles and Blackie would jump up and push down on the handle to open the door.  All I have to do now is teach him to close it behind him.  LOL
