This story makes my blood boil and I still can't believe it happened.
My friend Paul was walking with his handicapped son and his dog. His son has cerebral palsy and can't walk , as Paul was pushing Jakes chair for some reason that we will never know the dogs legs just gave out right in the middle of the street. So Paul pushed Jake to the sidewalk and went back to tend to Lady ( the dogs name ) she could not move. Then out of the corner of his eye he sees a car coming so he stands up and starts waving his arms and he notices that the car is not even slowing down. So now he is jumping up and down , still the car is not slowing down. Finally to save his own life he jumps out of the way. The car precedes to drive right over the dog never even slowed down. Now Paul looks up to see the car finally slowing down so Paul went to check on Lady. He looks up to his surprise to see the car drive away. He could not believe his eyes. He never even got the plates,he just stood there in shock. Needless to say Lady was gone. :'( Right in front of his handicapped child. Talk about people with no class never even stopped. I mean he / she rolled right over this dog it's not like they were not sure if they hit anything. Anyway I had to get that off my chest I am so disgusted. Rant over. Dave |

Stuff like that makes my BP go up too.... How did the child take it? Poor little thing... Wish he'd have gotten the license number and filed charges...

I sure hope someone counters this story with a "feel-good" story about some kind deed of a stanger, because,,,,, this just bummed my day!!! I sure wish i was near you pal, I would get your son another dog today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( say, now thats a feel good story right there,, anyone nearby gonna take this idea and run with it??????) Oh that pisses me off. How could someone be so heartless? How could someone not see that man jumping up and down in the street? That poor little boy saw his dog get killed. If their dog is anything like mine are they are a part of my family. My BP just went up a bunch of notches.

Wow, how awful! Makes me shudder to think what would have happened had he not gotten that child out of the way! I'm so sorry for their loss.

I must admit, I read this last night, and walked away from my puter, speechless! No words of consolation, no nothing........gobsmacked! Today, I feel anger! I want to find that person, and put him/her under the wheels of a car! In order to survive, I have to think people like that create a world of payback for themselves. I hope that person's payback is long and painful! Is a replacement dog in order? Cathi |

I have pure breed Shiz-Tzu's and I belive the female is pergnant again, It will be a few months before the puppies can leave there mom. I will let your friend have their pick for free if they would like another dog. Feel free to PM me if you like I can email pics of the last litter she had. God Bless. Phil

What a horrid act by a supposed human..... >:( I'm not going to say what I think should be done to the driver. But.....it has to do with his private parts and him parting company.
Ya know....I read a post like Mr. Floor's and I think this world is a mean and hateful place. Then....I read a post like Ch-Hell's and I think this world is still a good and kind place. Hi Dave make sure you tell him it will be about three months, 58-62 days after conception she will give birth, conception was about five days ago if it stuck so it will be about 55 days before she gives birth. The puppies need to be with there mother for aleast six weeks before they can leave. This could give some grieving time to your friend and his family and I'm sure we could find a way to get the puppy there.
