No matter which way you swing, as a woman, I hope Sarah Palin makes me proud by going "toe to toe with Biden" as quoted by Geraldine Ferraro. I am just hoping she doesn't fall flat on her face, even if I don't vote for McCain.
It's not a political thing for me, it's a woman thing. 8-) (just being honest) |

I agree Mel, she sometimes has a tendency to stutter her way through answers to tough questions that she doesn't know anything about.
This probably won't happen though of the questions for her are scripted. Jimmers |

I think that Biden is more apt to loose his cool than she is. He seems like a hot head to me. I can't even remember what he said recently but I can remember the image of him, with his teeth clenched, while he was saying it! Palin has a good head on her shoulders!

Palin better hit Biden with this one if she wants to score! ;)
Shockingly, Sen. Joe Biden was one of only five senators to vote against the first Alaskan pipeline bill in 1973. This is like having been a Nazi sympathizer during World War II. If Sarah Palin does nothing else, she has got to tie that idiotic pipeline vote around Biden's neck. The Senate passed the 1973 Alaskan pipeline bill by an overwhelming 80-5 vote. Only five senators voted against the pipeline on final passage. |

Who watches this shit? Only people who still don't know who they're voting for, I would guess.
Moderated by Gwen Ifill, who is releasing a book on Jan. 20, 2009, the title of which contains the phrase "The Age of Obama." Nah, she doesn't have any stake in the outcome of this election. </sarcasm> What a fucking joke the election process has become. |

I don't think entertainment gets any better than this! Neither of these candidates give a rat's ass about your freedom and ditto for their running mates.
Where are the 3rd party candidates? Why aren't they invited? Guess what they have to say isn't deemed appropriate for your little baby ears. As evident as it has become I still just can't help rebelling against being a modern day serf. Therefore, when a juicy interaction between professional politicians comes on the national stage it'd be horrible to miss such a display of Glampol! |

I watched part of it. It's all show biz anyway. I don't think that anything could have been said that would have changed my mind about who will get my vote. I disagree with Obama's beliefs so he will not get my vote. No debate would have changed it.
When I was growing up, my parents were very Democrat. Back then the Dems stood for different beliefs. It was about helping out the middle class....standing up for the little guy. Now, I feel like the Dems stand for a Socialist society. Every one should be equal..... you should give up what you work for, for those who choose NOT to work. Everyone CAN and WILL own a home.... not that you have the RIGHT to own a home but you SHOULD own it. That's why we are in trouble today! Last night Biden said that the middle class is what runs America. If not for the wealthy, the middle class would not have jobs. Not everyone can be equal. Someone has to own businesses and someone has to work for the owners. Not everyone is meant to go to college. Our society needs people to be store clerks, garbage collectors, and many other jobs that you CAN make a living from and not need a degree. That's why so many people don't want to work. If they can't make a million, what's the use. They'd rather sleep all day and collect from the work that you and I put in. Well, I could go on and on......... Jeannie |

Do the American people really think we are being listened to by our wonderful people on Washington? I vote, but does my vote fall into the Electoral College? No, so what difference does it make considering the fact that todays society has ZERO affect on what goes on in Washington! Democracy...yeah, that's why the rich keep gettin richer and the poor keepin gettin poorer!
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS PEOPLE!!!! Sad, but true! |

Steph, you hit it on the head.
Too often it is forgotten that, like everything, one just needs to follow the money to see what is really going on. |
