Hi, this is Vina, Karl wanted me to let you know how he's doing. The doctor fixed the tear in his elbow, and shaved the bone. It took less than 20 min. The doctor said "Karl did good". He's in a 1/2 splint, and huge wrap (shoulder to fingers). Oct. 7 he will get a cast for two weeks and then a splint and physical theropy.
The nurse came and got me because Karl was getting the CH, so I got his shot ready and it actually worked.
Right now he's doing good. Can't sleep like I'd hoped he would, but his mind is raceing with work, and life.
Karl says thanks for support and prayers. I'm taking very good care of him. He'll get to you later.

Tell Karl not to worry about work - there's enough boneheads in Washington D.C. messing things up that there'll be plenty for him to do when he's better.

Glad he's doing okay.

Remember - minor surgery is any surgery performed on somebody else.

Thank-you Vina for the update on Karl, and another huge THANK-YOU for being there when he started getting a hit and you were called in by the nurse and you were able to helped Karl with a shot. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Thanks for letting us know how Karl's getting along, Vina. I expect we'll hear from him shortly as well--a little one-fingered typing, most likely.

So he's sitting on the couch expecting to be waited on hand and foot right now huh? Check witht he doc and see how long that's "supposed" to last -- don't let it go on too long..... ya know how MEN are! :)
