OK get your minds out of the gutter..not that kind of crab. We are now proud owners of 7 Hermit Crabs. JD loves them, I don't love them but think they are neat to watch.
We are back from FL. Deveny, JD and I left last Saturday and went to Sait Augustine. It was raining and the weather station said rain all week. I stayed up half the night. Finally I woak Deveny up and said get on your lab top and find sunshine in FL. We drove another six hours across FL to Panama City, stayed at the days in for $350 for 7 days. The room was beach front and had a full kitchen. We loved it.

I let Deveny drive most of the time, I am one of those back seat drivers. After a couple of hours Deveny caught on and started asking permission to change lanes LOL.  Like I know more than her. I like to of got us all killed. I was reading signs and driving and a car stopped right in front of us. There was so one else around than God. I hit the break and moved to the next lane but the truck was fish tailing. I don't know how I kept from flipping us.

The stay at Panama was wonderful, nothing but sunshine. Wenesday Buddy joined us. We have so many animals we have to switch off. My son and his wife stayed here Thursday and Friday so Deveny could stay another day. She came home Friday. She had a flat on the way home, had to have two new tires put on the car. Buddy JD and I came home Sunday.

We saw a few Jelly fish, and JD caught a big Crab in his net, we made him put it back. JD found out he likes the ocean he would just dive in the waves. All I saw of him all week was his butt, his head stayed under water looking for shells and creatures. He found both.

I am glad to be home and caught up on things. The only thing that could have made the trip any better would have been had you all been there with us.

Going to check on the crabs now...yes they all have names.

I must say......the topic of your post worried me for a minute.  I though maybe you picked up more than a suntan while on holiday..   ;)

Glad you had a great time!  In Florida my brother bought a crab basket and he and my sister planned to go crabbing out the the boat.  They said to me, "We are going to catch crabs together"  That is just wrong on so many levels!

My son's class pet's last year were hermit crabs and each student took turns taking them home for the weekend.  They loved it like it sounds like JD does.

Hope you don't miss the warm sun and beach too awful much now that you are home!

Our Crabs are just babies compaired to that one Mast. Man thats a cool looking crab. What kind of container is he in Mast he looks to big for a fish tank.

Elaine, they were just in a 10 gal aquarium, that little tree that one is sitting in is only bout 4 inches tall.  Just a really good close up pic, lol.

We got not dogs or cats anymore, and no kid in the house so here's the new addition (and I KNOW Linda will hate this one, lmao):

OH Mast he/she is cool! JD now wants to get a bigger aquarium for the crabs and turn this one into a fish tank. My God what have I started LOL.

JD is real responsible, he had a digi pet and he has taken good care of it. That kid gets up in the middle of the night to take care of it. He has always taken good care of the cats and dogs. One of his jobs is keeping water in everyones bowl and helping me at feed time. He keeps his toys picked up because our new dog likes to chew, she has about out grown the cheing stage but he still is careful. He doesn't feed her off the table. If JD sees your pet he will want that too LOL.
The kid takes after me.  ;)
