Howdy all Glen here just turned 50 and the demon is back.

I never had any kind of headache untill turn 30 after 4 yrs of specialist, going to Hosp get Dr by neck and saying KNOCK ME OUT OR I'M KNOCKING YOUR HEAD OFF ||, tring wierd stuff like pouring novacane down nose, end up at Mayo Clinic untill ever heard of Cluster Headache...........they give me DHE 45 work prrety good just take 15 to 20 to quinch demon.. Age 40 had bad 4 week cycle and end up OD [ took 3 shots in like 4 hours] had stroke and was taken off DHE 45. Demon was GONE HURAYYY.........Age 50 now and had like 3 longdistan=nce vist [ like a 3 on scale] try Monrol { steroid } treatment work for 2 days had a 5 vist last 2 nights.

Any ideas??

Wow,,,, I am also new to this site and I found their is a wealth of knowledge in here. read,read,and read some more and I hope you find what you are looking for. This site is a God sent and the people that put this together are right up their too.

Welcome Knothead,

Three injections in 4 hours..... that's no good.
Which preventatives do you use, and have you ever tried the oxygen?
Furthermore it could be useful to try to determinate your personal triggers. Mine for instance are middle eastern food, alcohol, perfumes and the like.

I'm not understanding real well... did you say they gave you 3 DHE shots in 4 hours? Two are acceptable one hour apart, but the third should have waited for 8 hours. If the second one didn't work, then the odds of it working weren't good.

Sounds like you need some O2 and to calm down a little (aggitation doesn't help).

Are you on any prevents?
