I did some consulting work on the Conoco pipeline terminals in Montana and Wyoming in October of 2001. Beautiful country up there, though the snow was starting to accumulate by now. The wife flew up and we visited Yellowstone and stayed at the Old Faithful Inn. Yellowstone is a magical place with a "light dusting" of snow. Jane and I still talk about moving to Montana or Wyoming one day. Sheridan, Wyoming had a Mongolian Barbecue place that is still on my list of places to return to one day.
I couldn't resist taking this picture on my way to Lance Creek, Wyoming - population 78.

I learned that the hard way when someone told me the "shortcut" on how to get back to Douglas from Lance Creek.
