That is a hard one!!

I feel like it is almost like starting a new relationship. Everything is peachy at first and they tell you exactly what you want to hear and then the newness wears off and you find that they are just like all the rest. I find it really hard to trust any of them at this point.  [smiley=confused.gif]

Ya know, it's funny.  In my family, particularly my Grandma, just the world "Republican" is an evil thing.  I finally admitted to her on the phone 2 days ago that I'm a Republican.  You know what she said to me?  "Don't ever utter that in my presence again."  Well gee Grandma, thanks! ::)

Anyway, I believe in our Constitution, and am SICK of how it's basically been tossed away like a crumpled up piece of garbage.  Sometimes I cry about my children's future, because I am scared we are going to come to a point where we have no liberties left.  Where we can't even speak out against our government for fear of being imprisoned.  I'm scared that if we protest, we could be met with our own military.  The military that is supposed to PROTECT us from others, not from ourselves.

I'm freaking scared and I'm not going to take it anymore!!!  So if I am passionate about what is happening, you know why.  And the whole scope of what's happening is way beyond right or left, it is so much more worse than that.

People need to wake up.

That's because it's a hard realization to know that you've been manipulated, brain-washed or played for a fool.  And as my darling wife pointed out to me, "Everyone needs to 'belong' to something".  

For me, I'll stick with psychologically stable ex-cops and military guys.

Another possiblility would be Walter E. Williams.  He said he was going to run back in the 80's as a Libertarian, but never did.  I would have voted for him in a heartbeat.  he would be an excellent choice for Sec Treas by anyone.
