I know we are all grumbling about our condition and that it is very very bad.

There are some.. well, positive aspects as well:

1. We get to call our condition THE BEAST.. thats pretty cool

2. Our pain tolerance is at an level where we could walk around on broken legs, hardly noticing.

3. The first beer/wine after a cycle breaks.. AHHHH

4. The feeling of euphoria after a kip10

5. Everybody stays the hell out of your way;-)

6. Remission baby YEAH!

7. We get to hang around this place:-)

For those you who are coping with this, being chronic.. you are true heroes!

I agree every word you've written here. The chronics among us truly ARE vikings for battling this monster on a daily base.

thanks for posting that list. you are absolutely correct. no one else could possibly know the feeling when CH suddenly drains away to nothing. Why, it's better than a ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well it's just better.

I like the one about euphoria - that's exactly the word Chris used to describe how he felt after his first really bad headache. He said he was so happy & joyful he felt like crying...I am glad there's something good to come out of it :) The rest of your list seems pretty spot on - I am going to print it for my hubby ;D

2: The Euphoria after you beat a hit...especially when I beat it with oxygen. I swear that feeling is better then.......well it's just a damned good feeling! Great Positive Mental Attitude!!!!!!!

Great attitude. That will go further in your handling CH than anything else.
