Hughes shut my butt down in the middle of a post. That is why it showed me still on line. Some how I forgot to pay them last month.
They sent me a bill came in the mail the 3ed, that is when I relised my mistake. The bill they sent me just said double payment due 10/20/08. I scheuled it to go out the 15th, I wrote them and told them
I was sorry and the bill would be paid the 15th. They were not happy with that and cut my butt off. I have had them for four years and paid on time every time and they treat me like this over a simple human mistake. I paid them with a credit card and made their butts happy and had my service started again. I am looking for a new internet service now. That is what ya get for being a good customer. Oh well.
God forbid you make a mistake. They said if I cancel my service that I will have to pay extra fees. WTF?

I dont give the scumbags that chance, the day a bill comes in its pay'ed. .....on the spot. My credit rating is 895......these bastards wont dent that with a late bill....I make sure of that!  8-)

If you cancel your cell phone early, I know they can do that, but I have never heard of a interent connection being able to do that.  Time to talk to someone higher up like a supervisor?   And then change your carrier.  

That really bites E!  I hope that you can talk to someone at your provider who'll actually do something for you for being such a good, faithful customer! >:(

Nope I am so angery with them I am changing providers. I will save money also. My internet runs me $70 a month. They will lose $840 a year and I will gain half of that a year, plus I can sale the satilite and get part of my money back there. This may have turned out to be a good thing :-)
