Title: I know who I'm voting for now!!! Post by Melissa on Oct 12th, 2008 at 10:52pm
I cannot in good conscience vote for Chuck Baldwin. I educated myself further and realized he is not the candidate for me.
Bob Barr baby!!! BTW, Chuck, I WHOLLY believe in GAY MARRIAGE!!! :) edited to change title |

We bought two bumper stickers from the Libertarian party booth at the state fair last year:

Sorry if this is so personal, as each individual's election choices are, but I am just so glad I finally figured out what I want before time was up!
phew! |

Good move Mel. Libertarian works for me. Try and find a news story about Bob Barr! Everybody hates him it seems. That's a good sign Mel.
Baldwin. brrrrr. Regardless of anything he says, his only goal is to end birth control. If it feels good, it's a sin. He was the big cheese of the Moral Majority and as dangerous as they come. Charlie |

If you don't mind my asking then....how much did it cost you to put that sign in your yard? Seems to me it shoulda been free. Ya think? |

They are if you go to their local campaign headquarters. I don't know where there's are around here. It's OK tho, it's a campaign contribution, which I would have done anyway. :) |

Perhaps then the votematch one is a better choice? I hate labels too, and it sorta made me stick to my stomach when it placed me a hair to the left of the line (on the libertarian side). My dad always said that we should vote for the ones that promise to remove all the signs. They never do but you can use them when you need a good garage sale sign.

![]() ![]() This shows I lean a little left. I'm OK with that. I think it all depends on what the questions are. BTW, when I first took a presidential quiz before the conventions, my answers lined up with Dennis Kucinich. I'm a moderate liberal populast -- what the hell is that? Sounds like I'm gonna be on the terrorist list any time now..... :)

Ralph Nader in Libertarian territory!!!There's simply no way on earth.
Very Proud of Miss Mel... Barr has my vote as well. He was a 7th district Congressional Rep here in GA and the folks that Charles refers to as hating him were generally those who believed in decriminalizing marijuana--- a hot under the collar issue for Mr. Barr. In his defense, he has since re-evaluated his positions on actual freedom and has simmered down considerably on this. Economically he'd be a Godsend and he's a champion of the Constitution. It's pretty sad that that particular quality is a rarity among potential candidates............... One would think they would all be champions of the Constitutions, sadly most of them want to destroy it. |

I don't believe that most want to destroy the constitution. I do believe that far too many who have been in Washingotn for a while are willing to destroy the parts that interfere with their own agendas. I believe there are a lot of "Mr. Smiths" that go to Washington, they just don't come home that way. Power corrupts and ultimate power corrupts ultimately. |
