Hi all,

I went misdiagnosed for so many years that I'm not sure  what this pain is.  I get ocular migraines now and then and I have had this same pain before.  I just had always thought it was just a really bad HA because I used to think that my Ch pain was a migraine.   ( hope that makes sense)

The pain is all left sided, opposite from my CH side.  There was no aura, I woke up with it.  It hurts in my eye, nose, cheek, back of my head, top of my head and in my ear.   I feel nauseated and a little dizzy.  Every noise is multiplied by ten!  Not a good thing when you have a house full of preschoolers!

I have taken ibuprofen and an Excedrine Migraine pill.  Nothing has helped.  Any suggestions?  Would an energy drink help?   :-/

I just read your post how are you doing?  Did you figure out what to do to get some relief?  I pray that you are getting relief by now.  It sounded like a ch that changed sides on you but you never know unless you go to the dr and see what they say and wait a few days and see if the beast has changed sides on you.  Good luck and hope your feeling better now.

I am better.  I ended up drinking an energy drink and the pain was gone in about 10 minutes.

Mine changes sides every once in a while.  I think it is worse when it happens.
