So, now that Pete (aka Batch) has provided the first of his SITREPs on Svenn's behalf, and has requested we keep that Thread open for more updates, I'd suggest we use this thread, for the duration, for posting our love and encouragement for Svenn.

I'd like to thank everyone who has been here to help Svenn of late. I am not going to single out anyone, as there are many who have stepped up for him, and it would be so wrong to skip anyone.

Svenn, you know how proud I am of you for facing this demon. I will be sending you my vibes and  encouragement daily, and checking for updates when available. You are not alone, as we are all with you in our hearts. Be strong, and know I will be looking forward to our next chat, or better yet, your next visit across the pond. I will NOT miss another chance to see you and Bente........and that's a promise!

I'm glad to hear that Svenn will be going in-patient.  I believe that it's absolutely the best thing to do in this situation.

Well i am home now and feeling relatively great.I have a LONG and HARD way ahead of me yet.I am just 50% done with the treatment.But with all the help and vibes i am getting from all over the world i cant see what can go wrong now.

Today as a symbolic thing me and Bente did walk down to the pharmacy and cancelled the prescribtion for more morphine.So its a start at least.

At the next facility i am allowed at least to have my laptop and cellphone available so thats will be a comfort for me.

I will keep you all informed
