Me, I'm taking Barb and the boys to our place up north. Do a little hunting, cook some of the worlds best bacon, maybe whip up a batch of chili, but best of all have the worlds best fish fry at the Moose Inn in Redgranite, Wisconsin tonight.

I think its good therapy for Barb after her surgery ;)

I'll bring my wireless card and check in on you guys to make sure your behaving. 8-)

Probably get caught up on laundry, cook up some comfort foods, in fact tonight is going to be the old fashioned baked in the oven Mac and Cheese. Mmm Mmm good.

It's been raining all day, so a nice hot oven baked treat like this is going to be so yummy.

Saturday we are suppose to go for our year end ride at the cycling center followed by a potluck dinner and drinks. The weather office is calling for rain and high winds so the ride will probably not happen, but the party is a go either way.

We have a shelter for the food, but for the most part, we will be outside! [smiley=yikes.gif]

Sunday, if we survive Saturday, we will be inside nice and warm watching the Nascar Race at Atlanta in HD and eating leftovers all day long! 8-)

Helping Ellen get her applications for college and her paperwork for scholarship submissions in order. She's been actively recruited by some very good places, but it's time to start trying to nail it down. I'm sure it's going to dominate our conversations in the next few months.

She's been doing her part--her work in her last year of high school has been very impressive so far. No "slacking off" to ride on her past performance. It's the very least that I can do to try to help her maximize her success in high school, and capitalize on it. We are fortunate to have some friends who are expert in this process, who will be guiding us through it.

More later when we have something specific to report--but for now, please wish us luck. (Fingers crossed.)

Tonight.........a qwuiet evening at home......... tomorrow night, our club's annual Casino Night/Halloweeen Party........we have amassed a group of 7, and will be attending dressed was the gang from Gilligan's Island.........soo, potluck dinner, LEGAL table gaming, funny money and laughter.should be fun!
Still havent as clue what I'm bringing........... maybe a massive , loaded, spinach salad and some kinda dessert........

Going to cut some glass for some stained glass windows that I am building.
Also make some comfort food, I think we should start a thread on comfort food recipes. We share medication concoctions so why not food? Simple, fast instant gratification recipes, after all even CH suffers deserve instant gratification every now and then.

Laundry, cleaning house and supervising teens.

A friend is in from out of town, so hopefully one evening of good food, drinks and laughter.

My kids and hubby are taking me out to dinner tonight for my B-day. Tomorrow we're going to a Halloween party. Sunday will hopefully be a quiet day with family and then try to get caught up on house chores.

Tomorrow I have a golf lesson in the morning, then am bridesmaid-dress shopping in the afternoon.

Sunday I'll be packing a few more boxes and trying to get more decorating done. Also a clean-up before the outlaws descend for a whole week. My MIL is SO picky! House needs to be spotless. I'm on the edge of an edge and ONE comment about dog hair could result in their stay being cut substantially shorter!!

I'm gonna slowcook some ribs all day for dinner and have them with a salad, brown rice and corn. Yum!

Thinking about going out to dinner tonight and renting a movie.

Thinking about going to the Blue Chip in Michigan City tomorrow.

Football on Sunday.

Cleaning and doing laundry somewhere in between all that.

Of course this is my long weekend off and I don't go back to work until 11:00 pm on Tuesday night. :D

I am going to a game convention with a friend I reaquainted myself with at my 25 year HS reunuion. I guess I found my lost geek again. I know, another phase for my poor wife to live through. Long haired guitar player to no-haired semi-pro football player to still-no-haired game playing geek......

Also my 3 year old has her first play date tomorrow.
