I believe the answer to your first question is Robert Zimmerman and Gilligan.

People name dogs, imaginary friends... why not bugs (not the bunny).

I got 19 of 20 (missed #4) and Im 36.  Not too bad.

Egad.  I'm old.

I got all 20--and I could even sing all the jingles.

Now I've got "It's Howdy-Doody Time" running through my head.  Thanks for the brain worm.   :-/

Best,

George

Well, I got 18 right.  Good Lord Cat, hiphuggers and bell bottoms are/were back in.  Can't wait until Nehru Jackets and paisley shirts came back  ;).

Post by catlind on Oct 26th, 2008 at 9:54am
LOL Carolyn, the bellbottoms cracked me up.  But they are now passe (can't make the accent I'm too lazy) and Andrea had to have jeans that were tight as paint from hip to ankle.  At least they still have the hip huggers - if paisley comes back I'm locking myself inside - I've always hated paisley LOL.

It's hilarious when they come up and play a song for us, expecting us to recoil - it's now called progressive metal, and I play back Ozzy or Judas Priest and their eyes about bug out of their heads, I love it ;)

Some things never change, just the manner which they listen to them :)

Only six out of twenty...... am I excused for being European (most of it I've never ever hears of)? Or maybe for only turning 34 in december?
Anyway, that must've been the worst test outcome in forever  :(.

To use a quote that I stole from WIKIPEDIA:

Quote:
This success soon led to the team replacing Swayze on the network's nightly news program. It was decided to have the two men co-anchor the show; Huntley from New York City, Brinkley from Washington, DC. The Huntley-Brinkley Report began in October 1956 and was soon a ratings success. Huntley and Brinkley's catchphrase closing of "Good night, Chet" - "Good night, David... and good night for NBC News" was developed by the show's producer, Reuven Frank. The sign-off became famous (although both men disliked it).

Charlie,

Don't feel too bad!  "Don't trust anyone over 30" was usually attributed to Jerry Rubin following his arrest at the Democratic National Convention in 1968.  Best evidence, though, is that it was coined by Jack Weinberg at UC Berkeley in 1964 or '65.  I've never heard it attributed to Dylan!

Jim
