I be cheerin' for Philly now so at least I'll be able to say both a) the Brewers went one game further into the playoffs than the Cubs did, and b) the Brewers lost to the best team in baseball.

Saturday night's game was one of the best ball games I've ever seen.  Jamie Moyer was incredible.  I stayed up and watched it all and am glad I did!  I was jumping around the living room at one in the morning screaming for the Phillies!!

im sorry these are 2 good teams but this series has been terible..i dont know what it is..lack of hype ,,weather ,,timing,,not sure just sucks for some reason...dont get me wrong i dont have a dog in the fight so im sure you philly guys and gals as well as u floridians are pretty siked but as a mlb fan im just not diggin it.wish i was.

Bummer about the rain tonight.  I am about 30 minutes south of Philly and the weather here is awful....cold, rainy and bitter as all heck.  Tomorrow's weather isn't supposed to be any better since more rain is on the way and the winds will be kickin' up to 50 mph so it looks like we might have to wait until Wednesday.

Just heard that the Rays checked out of their hotel rooms before heading to the game tonight so I guess they will be looking for somewhere to stay.

At least they aren't the Yanks ... So I guess if my Red Sox can't be there, I can root for the Phillies ...

Nice to see support for the Phils!!!  Especially from my friends in Wisconsin.  Thats awesome!!!  NO GAME TONIGHT EITHER.  Postponed til wednesday night to finish game 5.  It was snowing here in Philly today.  Rain is still coming down like a bitch.
33 years living in Philly and never saw flakes fly in October.

They should have never played the game last night at all.  OUr ace goes at least 7 innings and because of the weather/postponement, we only get him for 5 innings.

Had they not gotten to the 6th inning and the game was suspended, they would have started over from scratch (special World Series rules).  Since it got to the 6th, it starts again where it left off.

Remember, this is Commisioner Bud Selig your talking about. . . the man who allowed a TIED All Star game . . . . we've had our fill of him here in Milwaukee (used to own the Brewers) - you all can deal with him for awhile. :P

Last word is that 76 people were arrested and many of them were students from Temple University, Drexel University and The University of the Arts.  I bet their parents are so proud. >:(

Been away from the boards for awhile - and now I'm catching up.  I am sorry I missed posting the excitement during the World Series and the Win!!!!  GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! PHINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to work the day of the parade, but I got to watch the parade from up high really - since my hospital is only 4 blocks from Broad St.

It has never been a better time to be a Philadelphian!!! :)
