Title: My family is walking on thin Ice !
Post by HappyElaine on Oct 30th, 2008 at 1:09pm
My family has humor. With me being the center of the joke.

We were out at the race track camping last week end. My grandson JD and I was talking about different things to past the time. He said "Nana I am afraid of the dark". I told him "I could understand that fear." Then he looked at me and asked, Nana what are you afraid of? My answer was growing old. He put his arms around me and said "Nana you must be very very afraid" LMAO some times the truth hurts !

This morning my husband asked me if I had weighted myself lately? I said no why? Well those love handles are getting a little bigger. My replay was ...Dear all those points you been getting the last few weeks well you just lost half of them.
When he left I had to go weigh myself. 137 lbs. I called him and told him that was with my shoes on, they weigh two pounds. He kind of chuckled and said, NO WAY the scales must be wrong you have to be at least 160lbs. I then said you know now your in the hole as far as points. Then I told him "oh since I gained so much weight that there was no longer any room in the bed for him. That he would now be sleeping in that camper of his LOL!"
Men they can't be happy, when I weighted 95 and 100 lbs he would say sweet heart you need to eat more.

God I am so loved ROTFLMAO

First of all....yes, your family loves you dearly.

Now....as to JD's comment.  Mark it up to 'out of the mouths of babes' :)

As far as Buddy....well, I don't know what excuse he has except to say he's a master jokester   :P   (sometimes that BillyBob has no sense...didn't he get enough of that camper bed last weekend? LMAO)

Love ya my friend,
Jackie

Oh geez Elaine. ::)  I am sitting here shaking my head and wondering if it'll be the same between Jesse and I when we are married longer.

He better watch it!  LOL

Walking on thin ice, huh?   I'd say they fell through it and if I were you I'd tell them I was too old and too overweight to help them up.  LMAO Elaine.   Where would this board be without your stories?

and yes....you are dearly loved around here.

LOL Ladies. I don't know where they get this humor at  ::)
I have come to the conclusion that I am not losing weight, I just going to fatten his butt up ! It would be a lot easier on me  ;D

I have had several stories to tell but...most of my stories are best told in person like the "rabbit story". I would get thrown off the site if I told them here  ;)

Hey sweetie..........you're still lighting up this board with your stories and I WANT to hear that rabbit story.

Isn't it funny how the advertising at the bottom of these pages relate to the first post?

Well, I remember when you lost way too much weight - so I'm betting that you look just great at a svelt 137 (with shoes of course)!

Besides, I think women look a whole better with some meat on their bones. Keep in mind that you don't really have a lot of choice - that's the way God designed Woman.

Tell Buddy "Hey" for me.

I have never hurt so badly then when I listened to one of Elaine's stories in person.  That's a GOOD belly laugh hurt I mean, not a clusterhead hurt.

I highly recommend hearing a story in person, if you ever get the chance.

And speaking of rabbit story...makes me miss some certain "people" around here...sigh :)

Elaine, Michelle, Linda and RJ are the only ones who could make me LAUGH outright LAUGH after a hit.

There's nothing like it.

Cat

eta: I've never cried so much in tears of laughter as I did at the 03 convention with Elaine!

Nor have I Cat.  We got maybe 3 hours of sleep that whole convention?  If it wasn't Elaine and her stories making us laugh it was Pigeon Joe on the front porch.  Every time I looked at Michelle she was either doubled over and hurting from laughing so hard or she was crying.

Best time I ever had with a bunch of head-bangers.

Cat, Linda and Michelle, that was the most fun convention I had ever been to. I never laughed so hard in my life. Lets go again !

Didn't you mean DURING a hit?   I know I said something to Roxy when she was getting hit and she looked up at me with tearing , 1/2 swollen eyes  and burst out laughing.
